Halloween Candy's at the Shop This Week

Dorothy asked us to pass this along. She will be at the shop with Halloween candy, and she has plenty of it. If you want some, come by.

Hours are the usual ones. Tuesday through Friday, 9 to 5. Saturday, October 31, 9 to 3. Monday is waxing by appointment only. This is candy for people who are already in the shop, not an evening stop. Friday night's city Halloween bash at the junior high starts at 5, which is when the shop is closing.

The sidewalk sign is inside until after the 31st

There is work on the street, and Dorothy was told the A-frame would be in the way. She brought it inside rather than risk losing it. It goes back out after October 31.

The shop is open. The barber pole is still running. It sits close to the building, so without the sidewalk sign it is easier to walk past. We are at 110 North Washington Street.

A beard kit is waiting on its winner

Every so often Dorothy's mom draws a name from the hat. Companies send products to the shop. Dorothy does not sell them, so they become prizes. You do not enter online. If you have been in the chair, your name may already be on a card.

The last prize was a Viking Revolution beard kit: growth serum, beard balm, a derma roller, and a comb. Dorothy has not used the line and is not recommending it. A company sent it, it went in the hat, and somebody won it.

She has been trying to reach the winner by phone and has not gotten through. If that drawing was yours, come by and pick it up.
